The federal government has allocated Rs17.8 trillion for the promotion of sports in the budget for the forthcoming fiscal year.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, the government has allocated Rs30 million for the construction of 250 mini sports complexes. Moreover, for the promotion of the national games, a budget of Rs150 million has been allocated.
The government had allocated Rs120 million for the biomechanics lab, whereas Rs100 million was allocated for the hiring of the foreign coaches.
