Hussain Nawaz, son of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that former Islamabad High Court (IHC) chief justice Justice (retd) Athar Minallah had already indicated that the case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo lacked a solid foundation.
Voicing his perspective on the situation surrounding his father's case, Hussain in conversation with Samaa TV said that the case against Nawaz Sharif lacks solid foundation, leading to the suspension of his sentence.
He further said that the matter will return to court, where the truth will be unveiled.
The Sharif scion went on to say that there is need to stop such treatment of elected prime ministers.
Hussain further argued that political stability is essential for the country’s development and called for an end to the disruptive patterns observed in recent times.
